Meet our Yoga Instructors
Natasha Akery

Natasha is a 200 HR instructor through Holy Yoga's teacher training program based in Phoenix, AZ. She is an alumnus of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies. She has been practicing hatha yoga for four years under the guidance of several teachers in the Charleston area. Her approach is Christ-centered and uses pranayama, asana, and meditation as vessels for prayer to and worship of God. Holy Yoga is open to all people of all traditions as well as all skill levels.
Ji Hwang

Ji completed her 200 hr teacher training with Devama at the Shambhava School of Yoga in Hawaii. She also completed the Ashtanga yoga teacher training with David Swenson and has recently been certified as a Silver Age (geriatric) yoga instructor. She has studied with numerous inspiring teachers. Although her primary style of yoga is Ashtanga, she will continue to explore and embrace different lineages of teachings as well. It is Ji's hope that the students who come to her class will develop a deeper understanding and compassion for themselves and towards others, as well as, an understanding of being mindful of always staying attuned and conscious of keeping the flow, the balance, and the spirit alive.
Kimberly Taylor

Kimberly Taylor began studying yoga in 2006 and quickly realized that it would become an integral part of her life. Yoga has allowed her to find peace and balance, and she loves sharing this compassionate practice with others. Kimberly graduated from Holy Cow Yoga's Teacher Training program in 2010. She enjoys incorporating flowing vinyasa sequences into her class and hopes to help students find the balance between reaching out and letting go. Kimberly is deeply grateful to her many teachers and feels blessed to pass this beautiful practice onto others.
Substitute Teachers
Rachel Glowacki

Rachel is a 200-RYT and serves as a core teacher of Holy Yoga based in Phoenix, AZ. She has been practicing for nine years and is currently receiving her Masters through Holy Yoga and her 500HR through Holy Cow Yoga. Her deep devotion (Bhakti) and appreciation of yogic philosophy (Sutras) and anatomy of the spirit (Chakras) set her path in motion to share with others that Jesus is our Master teacher. She teaches from a space that recognizes when we are still enough we will hear His voice and listen to the highest vibrational frequency in our bodes which is Love. For Rachel, yoga has become as natural as brushing her teeth. As a former aerobic and preschool teacher, it was natural for her to move toward yoga and combine all the components of health and fitness. She believes our physical bodies teach us about our emotional bodies, our inner flexibility, strength, and endurance. Characteristics such as patience, balance, humility and self control aid us through life, relationships, and ourselves. The real riches of yoga are found when we breathe in the essence of the Holy Spirit throughout the stresses of life. Then we will transcend above all understanding because The Spirit of God is guarding our hearts and minds.
